It is a service for our readers by providing books, articles or other information resources as loans or copies that do not exist in our library, from other information centers in the country or abroad. University Libarary Interlibrary Loan service is a valuable process creating an opportunity to the researchers of accessing the information not available in the host library. For this reason, it is very important for our library to contribute ‘the spread of information through sharing’ and cooperating with other information centers in the world through the interlibrary loan service.

TUBITAK-ULAKBIM NATIONAL UNION CATALOG TO-KAT is a national union catalog which captures many libraries of Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This union catalog contains; catalog records of the participant libraries and is a very functional bibliographic research tool for your interlibrary loan requests. Please search the union catalog and when you find any item you want, fill out the request form : Interlibrary Loan Request Form or contact our responsible staff at 6301502 or incilay.gurakar@emu.edu.tr. Rules for Inter Library Loan: How to use this service: The requested book and/or article is searched from the library catalog first to check the availability status. Once the material is located through the search catalog, the staff in charge of the Interlibrary Loan Service requests the material from the institution where it is available. How to make requests:

interlibrary loan service has to fill in and sign the ‘Request
