EBSCO Electronic Journals Service.
 

EBSCOhost Electronic Journal Service (EJS) provides access to the full text of all Eastern Mediterranean University Library’s on-line EBSCO journal subscriptions. A journal search  feature lets you browse journals as well as determine if Eastern Mediterranean University Library has subscription. You can also access tables of contents and some abstracts. The journals in  EBSCOhost are also available in “A to Z” database.

Electronic Journals List.

EBSCO's  A – to - Z service provides library users with a single, comprehensive online list of titles to which they have access. Users can quickly find and link to journals, of all Eastern Mediterranean University Library’s online  journal subscriptions. Users can search for journals  by keyword or browsing an alphabetical list by title or subject. Built-in tools allow Users to customize the journal list, including extensive branding options that can tailor the list to match the appearance of the library's other Web-based services. All major database vendors and publishers are represented.



ISI Web of Science
ISI Web of Science(USA Access) 
 

The ISI Web of Science is the Web interface for  institutional sitewide access to the ISI Citation products  which cover over 8,000 international journals in the  sciences, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. (Science Citation Index,Social Science Citation  Index, Art & Humanities Citation  Index : 1980 to present)
 


MathScienceNet Database
 

MathSciNet is a comprehensive database covering the  world's mathematical literature since 1940. MathSciNet  provides Web access to the bibliographic data and  reviews of mathematical research literature contained  in  the Mathematical Reviews Database.
 


International Nuclear Information System (INIS)


 

 

The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) is the leading information source for scientific and technical literature published worldwide on the peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology. INIS maintains a bibliographic database, entitled INIS Database, which currently contains over 2.8 million references with English abstracts from 1970 to the present. The Database is updated weekly.

ICONDA (International Construction Database) is a bibliographic database covering the worldwide literature on all fields of building construction, construction engineering, architecture and town planning. Most citations include abstracts. It is the database of the International Council for Building Research, Studies and Documentation (CIB).

Book Index With Reviews (BIR)
 

Book Index With Reviews (BIR) ; is a comprehensive database that provides information on over 4 million book titles in a wide range of formats, including large print, books on tape, etc. Fiction and non-fiction titles are included in the database, in all genres. The product contains over 800,000 full-text searchable reviews from sources such as Library Journa, Kirkus Reviews, Publishers Weekly and CHOICE, and provides 90,000 first chapter excerpts. Now, BIR also contains nearly a quarter of a million music, DVD and video titles, making it a great resource for finding multimedia materials.

The Serials Directory provides access to the most up-to-date and accurate bibliographic information as well as current pricing structures for popular serials. This invaluable resource is made available via EBSCOhost®. It contains nearly 212,000 U.S. and international titles, including newspapers; data from nearly 108,235 publishers worldwide, including e-mail and Internet addresses; and Library of Congress and Dewey Decimal Classifications for every entry.Classifications for every entry.

ERIC, the Educational Resource Information Center, provides access to education literature and resources. The database provides access to information from journals included in the Current Index of Journals in Education and Resources in Education Index. ERIC provides full text of more than 2,200 digests along with references for additional information and citations and abstracts from over 1,000 educational and education-related journals.

MEDLINE provides authoritative medical information on medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Created by the National Library of Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy, subheadings and explosion capabilities to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.
 



OCLC First Search Database

It contains different index and full-text databases for your searches. These databases are ; ArticleFirst, ECO,  ERIC, GPO, MEDLINE, NetFirst, PaperFirst, ProceedingsFirst, UnionLists, WilsonSelectPlus, WorldAlmanac, WorldCat.

In-print, out-of-print, and forthcoming books, audios and videos, with optionals reviews.

 



 

 

Ulrichsweb.com contains at its core the same bibliographic data as does Ulrich's On Disc, including all titles in the Ulrich's database and reviews from magazines for Libraries and Library Journals, but the similarity really ends there. Ulrichsweb.com is updated weekly instead of quarterly and contains search and browse indexes, such as language and frequency, that are not found on the CD-ROM or in the print version. Ulrichsweb.com gives users access to serials information, beyond the title level, with links to tables of contents, article abstracts, journals full-text, and document delivery.

Compendex® is the most comprehensive interdisciplinary engineering database in the world. Compendex contains over 9 million records and references over 5,000 international engineering sources including journal, conference, and trade publications. Coverage is from 1969 to present and the database is updated weekly.
