EBSCO's A – to - Z service provides library
users with a single, comprehensive online list of
titles to which they have access. Users can quickly
find and link to journals, of all Eastern
Mediterranean University Library’s online journal
subscriptions. Users can search for journals by
keyword or browsing an alphabetical list by title or
subject. Built-in tools allow Users to customize the
journal list, including extensive branding options
that can tailor the list to match the appearance of
the library's other Web-based services. All major
database vendors and publishers are represented. |

Information System (INIS)

The International Nuclear Information System (INIS)
is the leading information source for scientific and
technical literature published worldwide on the
peaceful applications of nuclear science and
technology. INIS maintains a bibliographic database,
entitled INIS Database, which currently contains
over 2.8 million references with English abstracts
from 1970 to the present. The Database is updated
weekly.

ICONDA (International Construction Database) is a bibliographic
database covering the worldwide literature on all fields of building
construction, construction engineering, architecture and town
planning. Most citations include abstracts. It is the database of
the International Council for Building Research, Studies and
Documentation (CIB).

Book Index With Reviews (BIR) ;
is a comprehensive
database that provides information on over 4 million
book titles in a wide range of formats, including
large print, books on tape, etc. Fiction and
non-fiction titles are included in the database, in
all genres. The product contains over 800,000
full-text searchable reviews from sources such as
Library Journa, Kirkus Reviews, Publishers Weekly
and CHOICE, and provides 90,000 first
chapter excerpts. Now, BIR also contains nearly a
quarter of a million music, DVD and video titles,
making it a great resource for finding multimedia
materials. |

much more. Created by the National Library of
Medicine, MEDLINE uses MeSH (Medical Subject
Headings) indexing with tree, tree hierarchy,
subheadings and explosion capabilities to search
citations from over 4,800 current biomedical
journals.

Ulrichsweb.com contains at its core the same bibliographic data as
does Ulrich's On Disc, including all titles in the Ulrich's database
and reviews from magazines for Libraries and Library Journals, but
the similarity really ends there. Ulrichsweb.com is updated weekly
instead of quarterly and contains search and browse indexes, such as
language and frequency, that are not found on the CD-ROM or in the
print version. Ulrichsweb.com gives users access to serials
information, beyond the title level, with links to tables of
contents, article abstracts, journals full-text, and document
delivery. |

interdisciplinary engineering database in the world.
Compendex contains over 9 million records and
references over 5,000 international engineering
sources including journal, conference, and trade
publications. Coverage is from 1969 to present and
the database is updated weekly. |
