    İntihal.net is a local program produced in Turkey to determine the similarity rate in academic studies. It is a web-based similarity detection and reporting software specialized to detect many types of plagiarism. 'İntihal.net' supports different file formats. Institutions that are members of the program can benefit from the system without any limitations in terms of both document type and number.

    İntihal.net can be used without any user count or scan count limit. Student homeworks, articles / presentations, conference proceedings and etc. can be scanned on 'intihal.net' without any limitations as to the document type. You can easily perform a similarity test without experiencing the problem of automatically adding your document to the repository. In İntihal.net, the class logic is based on the folder system. In the Academician account, you can easily create a class for student assignments or test your personal documents without having to create a class.     TUBİTAK ULAKBİM  has provided access for Universities  to iThenticate, which is used to evaluate academic papers (except student homeworks) in order to detect plagiarism. iThenticate allows publishers and researchers to easily upload and scan documents, manuscripts, research and other professional works into iThenticate which compares the work against more than 17+  billion web pages and archives.     EBSCO Open Dissertations includes the content from American Doctoral Dissertations. It is a free database with records for more than 1.2 million electronic theses and dissertations from around the world.

    EBSCO Open Dissertations is a collaboration between EBSCO and BiblioLabs to increase traffic and discoverability of ETD research. You can join the movement and add your theses and dissertations to the database, making them freely available to researchers everywhere while increasing traffic to your institutional repository.

    This new collaboration extends the work started in 2014, when EBSCO and the H.W. Wilson Foundation created American Doctoral Dissertations which contained indexing from the H.W. Wilson print publication, Doctoral Dissertations Accepted by American Universities, 1933-1955. In 2015, the H.W.     Turnitin: Plagiarism Detection System

    (Only Academic Staff Members of EMU have authority to use this service. According  to the licence agreement; The users who wish to use the Turnitin system should have minimum Doctoral degree  !)

    Turnitin is a web based system used for detecting and preventing plagiarism and improper citations in student homeworks, projects and papers. Once loaded into the system, student works are compared against a vast database. The system detects excerpts, suspicious similarities, uncited references etc. and produces a similarity report. Turnitin's control database consists of academic databases, academic journals and publications, 300+ million student homework, 60+ billion web pages.

    For using the Turnitin, EMU faculty members must apply with Name-Surnameand EMU e-mail address to, Turnitin Admin; Yeliz Biçici Demir. E-mail: yeliz.bicici@emu.edu.tr .  You will be identified to the system and a user name and password for accessing to the system, will be sended to your EMU e-mail address.

    In order to open accounts for students, academic staff are invited to first submit their course details into the Turnitin system and then, add the students to the course.  

    To register students to the system as a group, an Excel formatted student list can be obtained from the "ClassRoster" tab displayed under the "Semester Courses" link under the "Personal Information" section in your portal accounts. To ease the process of transferring the student list to the Turnitin system, only the areas containing information about students' name, surname and e-mail should be left while the remaining information should be deleted.

    What does it include?

    Ulrichsweb covers more than 900 subject areas. Ulrich's records provide data points such as ISSN, publisher, language, subject, abstracting & indexing coverage, full-text database coverage, tables of contents, and reviews written by librarians.
