Eastern Mediterranean University Library The 42nd. Library Week Activities ( 27.03.06 - 31.03.06)

 On March 28, 2006, The 42nd Library Week started with the reception held in the EMU Library Exhibition Hall.

In the Beginning of 2006 EMU Library organized a book donation campaign, called; "Knowledge is for Sharing".

On March 28, 2006, a Certificate of Appreciation was given to all the Academic Personnel who contributed to this campaign. There were 2000 books collected through the campaign and displayed in the Library Exhibition Hall.

 On March 29, 2006, a conference was given by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Altınay, Director of EMU School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, on "Organization and Management at Information Centers".

 On March 29, 2006, a conference was given by Sen. Instructor Alev Elçi, EMU School of Computing and Technology, was on "Effective Team Work at Information Centers" and was prepared for Librarians. Librarians showed great interest to this presentation.

 On March 31, 2006, The "Mobile Library" of the National Library of TRNC, was introduced to the students of Eastern Mediterranean Primary School. Students also were allowed to borrow books from the "Mobile Library"
